Ileum is an AI-powered IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) management platform that helps users track symptoms, meals, and lifestyle factors to better understand and manage their gut health. Our Services include:

  • Symptom and stool tracking using the Bristol Stool Scale
  • Meal logging with FODMAP analysis
  • Mood and lifestyle tracking
  • AI-powered insights and recommendations
  • Low-FODMAP diet reintroduction protocols
  • Educational content about IBS management
  • Gamification features to encourage consistent tracking

4. User Accounts

5.2 Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • Payment is processed through Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Stripe
  • Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice

5.3 Cancellation and Refunds

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • Refunds are handled according to the policies of the respective app store
  • We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services
  • Upload malicious code or content
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Use the Services to harass, abuse, or harm others

  • Apple HealthKit and Google Fit for health data
  • Google and Apple for authentication
  • Stripe for payment processing

We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party services. Your use of such services is at your own risk.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any defects will be corrected.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ILEUM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ileum and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Ileum operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
